The water treatment process is one of the best-known traditional applications of shungite. For centuries, shungite has been used to bring water into direct or indirect contact with the mineral. This creates so-called shungite water, which many users appreciate for its pleasantly perceived taste. These personal experiences are often associated with the shungite effect and are an important reason why many people choose to buy high-quality shungite.

For water treatment, both classic shungite and elite shungite are highly suitable.

Particularly well established is classic shungite of category 2, which represents the highest quality level of classic shungite. For water treatment, approximately 100 g of shungite per liter of water is typically used. Depending on the desired intensity, the process can take up to three days. Classic shungite is often used as raw stone, shungite split, or in specially prepared sets and is highly valued for this application.

Elite shungite, however, holds a particularly important position in water treatment applications. It is preferred by many users and is considered especially popular for this purpose. Many users describe it as more intensive in use, and due to its higher carbon content, it is significantly more valuable. For water treatment with elite shungite, approximately 10 g of stone per liter of water is sufficient. The processing time is usually around 24 to 48 hours. Those who wish to buy elite shungite will find carefully selected raw pieces specifically offered for this purpose.

In this product category, we offer a carefully selected range of shungite and elite shungite products, specifically compiled for water treatment.
