Shungite – natural support for indoor and garden plants

When you buy shungite, you invest in a natural and chemical-free addition for plant care. Shungite gravel and powder can support soil naturally. The mineral-rich rock consists mainly of carbon, stores moisture and may positively influence soil structure and nutrient availability. Traditionally, shungite from Karelia is associated with “northern power”, symbolizing balance and grounding.

Shungite gravel – practical and versatile

Our shungite gravel has a smaller grain size than water stones, making it easy to mix into soil. We recommend rinsing it before use due to fine dust.

Recommended dosage

• Indoor plants: 30–50 g per liter of soil
• Garden plants: 300 g per square meter

Shungite powder – fine soil support

Our pure shungite powder (Category 2) is suitable for sensitive or nutrient-poor soils.

Recommended dosage

• Indoor plants: 15–25 g per liter of soil
• Garden plants: 150 g per square meter

Application time

• Indoor plants: all year round
• Garden plants: best in spring (Feb–March)

Watering with shungite water can further support plant care.

Other uses

Small shungite grains (5–15 mm) can be used for cushions, mats or barefoot applications.
