Our matte shungite pyramids in classic form combine the special character of this northern natural stone with one of the oldest and most mysterious geometric forms known to humanity. The natural, unpolished surface highlights the structure of shungite and makes each pyramid a stylish and calm eye-catcher for living and working spaces.
The classic pyramid shape is deeply connected with the culture of ancient Egypt. Large pyramids such as the Great Pyramid of Giza continue to fascinate people with their precise geometric structure and mysterious symbolism. Historical traditions and mystical teachings describe pyramids as objects that can harmoniously align spaces and energies.
Our matte shungite pyramids follow the Golden Ratio, a principle that has long been associated with harmony, proportion and aesthetics. These balanced dimensions create an object that is traditionally perceived as particularly harmonious and balanced – both visually and for the conscious design of living spaces.
Shungite comes from the northern region of Karelia and is known for its distinctive structure. In traditional interpretations, the stone is associated with a calming and balancing effect on the atmosphere of a room. Many people use shungite pyramids to create a harmonious atmosphere in living and working spaces.
The classic pyramid shape reinforces this impression, as it is traditionally regarded as geometrically stable and structuring. The aim is to consciously design spaces using natural materials and aesthetically appealing forms.
In traditional use, a radius of effect is sometimes specified within which the pyramid is believed to unfold its harmonious effect:
These values are intended as a guide for room design.
Matte shungite pyramids are also traditionally used for water preparation. The pyramid is placed directly into the water, which is then left to stand for up to 72 hours. The water is then separated from the pyramid.
A pyramid with an edge length of 5 or 7 cm is suitable for approximately 3–5 litres of water. The straight shape of the pyramid also makes cleaning easier. The unpolished, natural surface is traditionally perceived as particularly authentic and supports the traditional use of shungite in water preparation.
When purchasing a shungite pyramid, the origin of the stone is important. Only pyramids made from solid shungite preserve the natural structure and beauty of the material. Products made from pressed shungite powder lose these properties and are considered less authentic. We do not offer such products.
Transparent information about the origin and processing gives you confidence that you are purchasing a high-quality matte shungite pyramid that is both visually appealing and traditionally harmonious.
