Traditionally Assumed Radius of Effect

In traditional use, a radius of effect is sometimes specified within which the pyramid is believed to unfold its harmonious effect:

• Base 50 × 50 mm: approx. 2 to 3 metres
• Base 70 × 70 mm: approx. 3 to 4 metres
• Base 100 × 100 mm: approx. 5 to 6 metres
• Base 150 × 150 mm: approx. 6 to 7 metres

These values are intended as a guide for room design.

Water Preparation with a Matte Shungite Pyramid

Matte shungite pyramids are also traditionally used for water preparation. The pyramid is placed directly into the water, which is then left to stand for up to 72 hours. The water is then separated from the pyramid.

A pyramid with an edge length of 5 or 7 cm is suitable for approximately 3–5 litres of water. The straight shape of the pyramid also makes cleaning easier. The unpolished, natural surface is traditionally perceived as particularly authentic and supports the traditional use of shungite in water preparation.
