Matte Shungite Plates & Discs – Natural Energy for Water and Placement

Our matt-ground, unpolished Shungite plates and discs are made from a solid Shungite stone. The untreated surface preserves the stone's natural structure in its entirety, which is particularly advantageous for energetic applications and water preparation.

Shungite – a soft, natural mineral

Shungite is a relatively soft mineral and consists predominantly of carbon. Natural, unpolished surfaces may leave slight marks during handling. A black-grey dust is produced, which is completely harmless and can be easily removed with water and soap. This characteristic emphasizes the authenticity and naturalness of the material.

Preparing water

Shungite is valued in various spiritual teachings as a special natural material and is consciously used by users in connection with water. Matt-finished plates and discs made of Shungite are used to structure water or to consciously perceive it as part of personal mindfulness practices. The changes described in this context are based on individual.

For this form of application, some users place a Shungite plate or disc in water for a period of approximately 24 to 72 hours. A guideline of approximately 100 g of Shungite per 1 liter of water is often used. After removing the stone, the water can be used, for example, as drinking water or for other everyday purposes.

Versatile application

Unpolished, matte Shungite plates can be used for placing objects on them or as part of personal energetic applications. Some users also place Shungite plates directly on the body, for example as part of individual relaxation, mindfulness or awareness practices, in order to consciously accompany them. The effects experienced in this context are described as supportive or positive and can vary greatly.

Due to the rough, natural surface, stronger staining may occur with direct contact. Anyone who prefers an application without staining can alternatively choose our polished Shungite plates and discs.

Care and cleaning

Before use, rinse the plates or discs thoroughly with clear water. For regular cleaning and energetic refreshing, we recommend mechanical and energetic cleaning every 2–3 months: Place the plates or discs dry in the sunlight or outdoors during a full moon.

Thanks to their flat surfaces, the plates are very easy to clean mechanically, e.g. with a brush. When rinsing, use only clear water; chemical cleaners should be avoided.
