Our shungite powder is produced through a purely mechanical process: classic shungite stones are slowly ground in a drum. The friction creates a uniform, very fine black powder that is pure and free from foreign substances, binders, or additives.

Warning when handling shungite powder

Please note that the powder is extremely fine and strongly staining. It contains a high proportion of natural carbon and therefore strongly adheres to skin, fingers, and surfaces. It can darken skin pores and is often only fully removed with soap and thorough washing. This is not a defect but a natural property of genuine shungite.
