Special Shape of the Shungite

This set contains Shungite river stones collected directly from the shores of Lake Onega in Karelia. The gentle flow of the water has naturally rounded the stones, giving them their unique shape and pleasantly smooth surface. Every stone is a one-of-a-kind natural specimen made from 100% Classic Shungite, Category 2. Not all stones have the same electrical conductivity, which further emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual stone.

Natural Inclusions

Every Shungite stone naturally contains small inclusions of quartzite and pyrite. During water preparation, these may appear as subtle orange or golden spots. This is completely normal and a clear sign of the authenticity and natural origin of the material. These natural inclusions have little to no effect on the water preparation process.

The stones originate from the area surrounding the village of Shunga in Karelia, one of the most traditional sources of this remarkable mineral. After arriving in Würzburg, they are carefully inspected, cleaned, and hand-selected.
