The word coral comes from the Greek word "korallion" and refers to colony-forming cnidarians that live in the sea. According to a Greek myth, corals were formed from the blood of Medusa. Coral was already used in ancient Egypt and Persia as a protective stone against evil spirits and magic.
With the bracelet made of shungite and coral you will feel protected from negative energies and influences. Since coral can also relieve tension and fears, it complements shungite very well in its protective effect.
Our pearls made of coral dust not only look beautiful with their evenly round shape, but the corals are also used particularly sparingly and gently during production.
We named this attractive bracelet after a place in Karelia, the country of origin of shungite. "Kondopoga" is located in this region of northwestern Russia, where we source our shungite.
Quality:
The bracelet was made on our behalf by regional jewelery producers. Shungite beads are delivered to us in Germany directly from the quarry in Karelia. We get the coral dust beads from a trusted supplier.
All of our shungite stones are carefully checked for quality and authenticity based on electrical conductivity, weight, hardness and optical characteristics. We also regularly visit the quarrying site in Karelia and the workshops in which the stones are further processed - for example into this bracelet.
Certificate:
Only through this complex procedure can we guarantee the high quality and authenticity of our shungite stones. With the delivery of this bracelet, you will receive a certificate issued by us, which documents the authenticity of the shungite beads and their origin.
The bracelet is comfortable to wear thanks to the rubber band on which the pearls are threaded.
An advantage of the bracelet is that no energetic purification is necessary. Shungite has a special ability not to absorb negative energy. Therefore, it is often used to discharge and purify other minerals. Thus, the bracelet does not need to be energetically cleaned.
Shungite is a relatively soft stone, so the polish of the stones will fade over time. However, this has no effect on the properties of the bracelet. Even if the pearls later shine less than at the beginning, the bracelet remains a beautiful eye-catcher.

Rub off
Items made of classic shungite can stain, more so in unpolished places than in polished ones. For example, the drilled holes in jewelery beads are not polished, which means that the jewelery objects will rub off a little at first. This cannot be avoided, as it is a completely natural property of shungite. Most of the time it is gray discoloration that can be easily removed with soap and water.
Additional elements
Classic shungite is a mineral that naturally contains additional elements that are irregularly distributed. That is why in some places pyrite and quartzite inclusions can be seen, which look like scratches or cracks. These show that it is real shungite and are by no means a sign of poor quality.
Polish
The polish does not last very long on the stone's surface, since shungite is a relatively soft mineral. This is perfectly normal and not a quality defect. When manufacturing our products, we deliberately do without a strong seal or polish. We would like to offer our customers the stones as natural as possible.
