This attractive bracelet is made of polished black schungite and green malachite beads. Malachite is particularly attractive because of its grain. With the help of the silver-plated chain, the bracelet can be individually adjusted to your size.
Malachite belongs to the mineral class of carbonates and nitrates. It is also called copper spar or mountain green and occurs in different shades of green. The name malachite comes from the ancient Greek word for mallow, a plant with intense green leaves.
Malachite has been a popular healing stone for a long time. It strengthens perception and improves concentration. It also provides for more inner harmony and balance. In the Middle Ages, it was considered a midwife's stone because it was believed to alleviate labour pains. Thus, malachite complements the protective effect of schungite very well.
Quality:
The bracelet was made on our behalf by regional jewellery producers. The schungite beads come directly from the mining site in Karelia to us in Germany. The malachite beads are delivered to us by a trustworthy supplier.
All our schungite stones are carefully checked for quality and authenticity, based on electrical conductivity, weight, hardness and optical characteristics. We also regularly visit the mining site in Karelia and the workshops where the stones are processed - for example into this bracelet.

Only through this elaborate procedure can we guarantee the high quality and authenticity of our schungite stones. For this purpose, you will receive a certificate issued by us with the delivery of this bracelet, which documents the authenticity of the schungite beads and their origin.
Please note:
Rub off
Items made of classic shungite can stain, more so in unpolished places than in polished ones. For example, the drilled holes in jewelery beads are not polished, which means that the jewelery objects will rub off a little at first. This cannot be avoided, as it is a completely natural property of shungite. Most of the time it is gray discoloration that can be easily removed with soap and water.
Additional elements
Classic shungite is a mineral that naturally contains additional elements that are irregularly distributed. That is why in some places pyrite and quartzite inclusions can be seen, which look like scratches or cracks. These show that it is real shungite and are by no means a sign of poor quality.
Polish
The polish does not last very long on the stone's surface, since shungite is a relatively soft mineral. This is perfectly normal and not a quality defect. When manufacturing our products, we deliberately do without a strong seal or polish. We would like to offer our customers the stones as natural as possible.
