The rune Elhaz (also called Algiz) symbolizes a strong, defensive animal: the elk. This rune is therefore often used to protect and ward off danger. We had this rune engraved on the shungite pendant by a specialist company.
The combination of the Algiz rune with the mineral shungite creates an interesting talisman that has a positive effect on its wearer. Since shungite stone protects against negative energy, the Elhaz rune, with its protective effect, is a good addition to this material.
Quality:
The shungite rock from which this pendant was carefully cut by hand comes from the Zazhoginskij mine in Karelia/Russia and corresponds to the highest quality category for classic shungite, category 2.

Shungite is considered to have the power to provide protection against energetic interference fields and against exposure to radiation. Coloring off
Objects made from classic shungite can stain, more so in unpolished areas than in polished ones. For example, the hole in the trailer is not polished, which means that the color will rub off a bit at the beginning. This cannot be avoided as it is a completely natural property of shungite. Most of the time it is a gray discoloration that can be easily removed with soap and water.
Additional elements
Classic shungite is a mineral that naturally contains additional elements that are irregularly distributed. That's why pyrite and quartzite inclusions can be seen in some places, which look like scratches or cracks. These show that it is genuine shungite and are in no way a sign of poor quality.
polish
The polish does not last very long on the surface of the stone because shungite is a relatively soft mineral. This is completely normal and not a quality defect. When manufacturing our products, we deliberately avoid strong sealing or polishing. We would like to offer our customers the stones as natural as possible.
