How long does shipping take?

On our website, we offer only shungite products that are ready for shipment. Depending on the payment option that you have chosen, the goods will be shipped no later than one business day after ordering or immediately after receiving payment.

Shipping within Germany takes two working days. In Europe and worldwide, shipping time is highly dependent on the country. For example, shipping to Austria and Belgium takes about 4-7 business days.

For shipments to Switzerland, customs clearance times are added.

The package or product is damaged. What shall I do?

If the package or the delivered item is damaged, please contact us immediately, preferably by e-mail [email protected] or by phone 0931 991 782 93.

Are there any certificates for shungite and elite shungite products?

Yes, the parcel you receive is accompanied with a certificate issued by us confirming the authenticity of our shungite and elite shungite stones. Since the late 1990s, we have had a reliable business partner in Karelia who has been supplying us with high-quality shungite products. We regularly visit the quarry and processing plant, which help us to be well acquainted with all the processes on site. This allows us to guarantee the origin and quality of our stones with a certificate.

Cracks on the surface

Microcracks are visible on the surface. What shall I do?

Shungite contains inclusions that are unevenly distributed in the stone. This can usually be seen as thin longitudinal lines on the surface. They are often perceived as microcracks. On closer inspection, preferably under a strong magnifying glass or a microscope, it is easy to see that these are quartzite or pyrite inclusions.

Such inclusions can always be found in polished and matte shungite stones. Some stones contain more of them, and some less. There is no shungite stone that does not contain inclusions of pyrite and quartzite.

Orange spots on the surface

Shungite and elite shungite are often used as water purification stones and placed directly into the water. After a while, orange spots may appear on some stones.

These are inclusions that get oxidized in water. Shungite is a composite rock that always contains inclusions. This applies both to classical and elite shungite.

If the stone has orange spots on an area of up to 3%, this is completely natural and harmless. This does not affect the water.

If orange spots cover a large area of the stone, we recommend that you no longer use this stone for water purification. However, this is rarely the case. Please contact us if that happens. Perhaps we will be able to replace such stone for you.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to recognize the places of future oxidation on the stone in advance. When the stone is in a dry state, inclusions are completely invisible. The stains only appear after prolonged contact with water.
