Water Purification

Do I need to clean the stones regularly?

Shungite is a special mineral that does not absorb negative energy. Thus, there is no need for clearing negative energy.

If stones are placed directly in water for the purpose of purification, deposits such as limescale may form on the surface of the stones.

In this case, regular cleaning is recommended depending on the application. A plastic brush would be very good for this. Subsequent clearing of negative energy by sunlight or the light of a full moon is not necessary but does not harm the stone.

If the stones are not in direct contact with water, cleaning is not required.

How long can I use the stones?

Classical shungite, as well as elite shungite, mainly influences water at the energy level. Even stones that have been used for a very long time have the ability to transfer positive energy to water. If the surface of the stones is clean, there is no point in replacing them. With regular cleaning and correct use, the stones do not wear out and can be used without time limits.

What proportion of fullerenes is contained in shungite and elite shungite?

We contacted some scientists to clarify the issue of shungite and fullerenes. Unfortunately, to date, we have not received any unambiguous results that would accurately indicate fullerenes and their percent in shungite.

It is assumed that carbon, of which shungite and elite shungite are mainly composed, has a special fullerene structure. According to our research, elite shungite contains up to 87.4% of carbon, and classical (ordinary) shungite contains up to 51.9%.

Additional information and test results can be found on our website in the Tests and Certificates section.

Is elite shungite better than classical (ordinary) shungite in terms of water purification?

Elite shungite is usually felt more intensely during water purification. It also requires a shorter exposure time (up to 24 hours), and the ratio of water to stone (10 g per litre of water) is significantly lower than that of classical shungite. However, this does not mean that elite shungite is better, because classical shungite also has its strengths and is very popular as a water purification stone.

Elite shungite, like classical (ordinary) shungite, has advantages and disadvantages in water purification, and neither of the two minerals is better or worse.

Are the plates and discs suitable for water purification?

Plates, discs, pyramids or cubes with an unpolished surface suit greatly for water purification. Thanks to the smooth surface, these stones can also be cleaned very well.

Please note that products made of shungite stone with a polished surface should not be used for water purification.

Is shungite water good for children?

Shungite water is created by transferring information from shungite to water, while the chemical composition of water does not change. If you do not want to place stones directly into the water, you can also prepare shungite water without direct contact with the stones, for example, by placing a glass of water on a shungite plate. Water with positive information is well tolerated by adults and children.

There are no age restrictions for shungite water.

Can I use shungite together with reverse osmosis plants?

After purification in a reverse osmosis plant, the water can be purified with shungite. You can use both shungite and elite shungite for this purpose. The process and exposure time are the same as for ordinary water. It makes little sense to treat water with shungite before purifying it in a plant.
