The importance of water to us

To quench our thirst, we humans drink various liquids like juices, milk, beer, etc., which humanity has invented and thought up in the course of its development. That being said, the only real drink among all these liquids was and remains water in its original natural form. It is the base, the main ingredient in all our drinks, which is the best medium for regulating our metabolism. That is why water is so important to our health.

There are many different types of water: on the one hand, it may be tasty and full of energy, and on the other hand, it may be powerless, stale and unusable.

Water is the most important element for us. However, its quality is no less important. Imagine the following picture: a large plastic bottle with 100 ml of water left at the bottom.

The same 100 ml of water can be obtained directly from a spring by placing a glass under the flow.

In both cases, the temperature and chemical composition of the water are the same, but still, the two water samples are very different. Our shungite stones come exclusively from the Republic of Karelia in the north-west of the Russian Federation, on the border with Finland. The indigenous inhabitants of Karelia knew about the properties of shungite many centuries ago. According to ancient traditions, shungite has long been considered a strong protective and water purifying stone. It was also used in the region to purify water in village wells.

Old chronicles tell about the use of shungite for water purification back in the 17th century. The fascinating history of Russia and Karelia is closely connected with the stone. According to legend, the founder of the Romanov dynasty was born only after shungite was used to treat his mother. In 1719, by order of Peter the Great, the first Russian resort Marcial Waters was founded on healing springs.

Water purification with shungite

As it was back then in Karelia, life-giving energy-rich water is of great value all over the world today. Shungite makes it possible to positively influence the information in the water for us, people, by enriching the water with vital energy. Unlike other stones, shungite has a special property not to absorb negative energy. This makes it the perfect water purifying stone.

Shungite water purification is mainly a transmission of positive information from stone to water. Please do not confuse this with water filtering. Water filtering with shungite is a very complex topic that we do not consider because we have no experience in this area and we do not offer shungite filters in our store.

What is shungite water used for?

Water quality has a huge impact on the quality of our life. With shungite, we get energetically high-quality water right at home. It doesn't require a lot of time and money. Water purification with shungite is not difficult, but it is effective.

How is shungite water prepared?

Stones can be placed straightforwardly into the water. The surface of the stone is in direct contact with water.

Furthermore, information is transferred from stone to water even without direct contact with water. In this method, the stone is separated from the water by the glass. Most often it is a test tube with elite shungite stones or a vessel for water on a shungite plate (indirect contact).

It is best to use a glass vessel to prepare shungite water. Please do not use metal utensils for this, as this may cause an unpleasant aftertaste. It is best to use still water. Depending on the quality, tap water can also be used.

Direct contact: Classical or elite shungite is put directly into the water. The stone transfers its vital energy to the water. Direct contact with the stone surface can play an important part in energy transfer. It is believed that shungite is especially effective in direct contact with water due to the unique chemical composition of the rock.

The stones should be thoroughly washed before use. After putting the stones in the water, place the vessel in a quiet place away from direct sunlight.

Indirect contact: For this, the stones are placed in a glass container, which is then dipped in water. Information is transmitted from stones to water. This is a popular method of using shungite in combination with other stones to replenish energy.

Stones in a test tube: Put stones, for example, in a test tube, and then place them in a vessel of water. The energy information of the stone will be transferred to the water without direct contact. In this method, elite shungite stones are mainly used due to their highly intense effect.

Vessel with water on a shungite plate: The energy information of shungite can also be transferred to water using a shungite plate. For this, a jug or glass of water is placed on a shungite plate.

Whichever method you choose, shungite water gives you the opportunity to restore your natural energy.

How long does it take to purify water?

Water purification can take anywhere from a few minutes to three days, depending on your personal preference.

Elite shungite has a stronger effect, so it takes much less time for it to transfer information to water. 12 to 24 hours is usually sufficient.

Purification with classical shungite may take a little longer, but some customers find such water more pleasant. The stones remain in the water for 24 to 72 hours, after which the water can be used.

There is no exact time for the duration of the purification, as it is related to individual sensations. What is enough for one person is not enough for another.

With the help of our recommendations, you can confidently start purifying water and then determine the optimal time for yourself. The water after purification must be completely neutral and pleasant to the taste.

The recommended duration depends on our own experience with shungite water and the experience of our customers. Pay attention to your sensations to determine the longest possible purification time for you.

Elite shungite or classical (ordinary) shungite

Both types of shungite are used for water purification. However, only rough unpolished stones can be used.

The effect of elite shungite is usually felt stronger and more intense than that of classical (ordinary) shungite. Therefore, it is better to take smaller stones (about 10 g per 1 litre of water). The exposure time to the shungite vital energy is also shorter (approximately 12 to 24 hours).

Classical shungite requires a longer time (up to 72 hours) and larger stones, about 100 g per 1 litre of water. Nonetheless, it is no worse than elite shungite, even if it is not felt so strongly.

How long does water stay life-giving?

Water treated with shungite stays fresh and healthy for much longer. You can check this relatively easily.

The period for water to retains information and remain life-giving depends on many factors and is generally difficult to determine.

Please note that purified water completely loses information when boiled or frozen.

Possible options for using shungite water

Shungite water is used for drinking, food preparation and personal hygiene. Animals and plants also benefit from the positive energy of shungite water.

Water accompanies us every day all of our life. If you are using shungite water, there are no exact specifications, rules, or generally accepted quantities. It is important to use water in your life according to your sensations.

Some people drink shungite water once a day as something special. On the other hand, someone uses it as a thirst quencher while exercising or for cooking.

Therefore, the way and the quantity of shungite water that you need in your life is very individual.

Do you want to prepare life-giving water for your pets?

First, offer your pet water without shungite together with shungite water, so that it has a choice. Most animals definitely choose shungite water.

You can put a shungite stone directly into a bowl of water, but this is not recommended because animals can play with it and accidentally swallow it. The stone can also scare them. Besides, germs and algae may settle on the surface of the stone over time and make your pet feel unwell.

You can also enrich your pet's water with energy in a decanter or pitcher and then pour it into a suitable water bowl for your pet. Make sure it's not a metal bowl.

Shungite-treated water contains positive information. It is good for people, animals and plants.

How long can shungite stones be used for water purification?

The service life of a stone depends on many factors such as the quality of the water used, the intensity of use, etc.

Chips from classical and elite shungite:

Rock chips have a large surface area that can calcify or form deposits over time. It is hardly possible to clean the altered surface of every stone particle. Therefore, we recommend replacing the stone chips no later than after 18-24 months.

Larger stones:

Despite the same weight, the surface of larger stones is much smaller. For example, you can easily clean them with a plastic brush to keep the stones suitable for use. With regular cleaning, the service period of larger stones is unlimited. Besides that, it works for both classical and elite shungite.

Energy cleaning of stones

A clean surface is not the only factor affecting the stone service life. It is also important to regularly cleanse the stones on the energy level. The stones should be washed under running water every 2-3 months and charged after drying on the direct sunlight for about 6-7 hours. Although shungite does not absorb negative energy, we recommend energy cleansing.

Inclusions (rust stains)

There may naturally be some inclusions in classical and elite shungite. They are unevenly distributed in the stone.

Therefore, many such spots may appear on the stones during water purification, as can be seen in the picture.

It also happens that these stains look like rust. This cannot be avoided with such a natural product as shungite.

Even if these inclusions are neutral in water purification, we recommend discarding such stones and ideally not using them.

Practical advice

Please note that the following information is not intended as an instruction manual. These are just recommendations based on our experience and that of our customers.

Do not use carbonated water.

Do not place shungite water in the sun.

Rinse stones thoroughly before use.

In case of direct contact, it is important to remove the stones from the water no later than three days after putting them there, otherwise, the water may have a slight aftertaste.

If you look closely at the water containing shungite stone, sometimes you can see tiny black particles. Usually, this can be observed only with recently purchased classical shungite stones. This is shungite dust. From our many years of experience and the experience of our customers, we are not aware of any negative effects of this shungite dust. Several studies also support this. It was proved that shungite water meets the requirements of the German food guidelines. We often request the analyses of the indicators of radioactivity and aluminium content, while shungite water is always within the permissible limits. Therefore, shungite water is completely harmless.
