Schungite and magnesite is a successful combination. Not only does the bracelet look beautiful, in healing stone science the combination of the two minerals is seen as an effective way to harmonise the Yin and Yang energy.
Magnesite, also known as bitter spar, was originally found in Africa. However, it got its name from the Greek landscape Magnesia. Among African peoples and also ancient Greeks, it was a popular protective and healing stone.
With the bracelet, the energy of opposites can be effectively balanced. Balance the yin and yang energy is very important for our sense of well-being.
Quality:
The bracelet was made on our behalf by regional jewellery producers. The schungite beads came to us directly from Karelia, the magnesite beads we received from a trusted supplier.
All our schungite stones are carefully checked for quality and authenticity based on electrical conductivity, weight, hardness and optical characteristics. We also regularly visit the mining site in Karelia and the workshops where the stones are processed - for example into this bracelet.
Certificate:
Only through this elaborate procedure can we guarantee the high quality and authenticity of our schungite stones. For this purpose, you will receive a certificate issued by us with the delivery of this bracelet, which documents the authenticity of the schungite beads and their origin.
Please note:
Rub off
Items made of classic shungite can stain, more so in unpolished places than in polished ones. For example, the drilled holes in jewelery beads are not polished, which means that the jewelery objects will rub off a little at first. This cannot be avoided, as it is a completely natural property of shungite. Most of the time it is gray discoloration that can be easily removed with soap and water.
Additional elements
Classic shungite is a mineral that naturally contains additional elements that are irregularly distributed. That is why in some places pyrite and quartzite inclusions can be seen, which look like scratches or cracks. These show that it is real shungite and are by no means a sign of poor quality.
Polish
The polish does not last very long on the stone's surface, since shungite is a relatively soft mineral. This is perfectly normal and not a quality defect. When manufacturing our products, we deliberately do without a strong seal or polish. We would like to offer our customers the stones as natural as possible.
