Precious shungite has its origins in Karelia. It has been used there for a long time as a powerful protective stone. Precious shungite has a special feature that has also made it very popular here in Western Europe: It does not absorb negative energy while it unfolds its strong protection and does not need to be additionally programmed with information.

Origin of the stone:

Precious shungite is a relatively rare stone. The only known place where it is found is in Karelia/Russia near the village of Shunga. The stone can be found in narrow fissures between classic shungite. The stones are sent to us in Würzburg immediately after they are mined in Karelia. After a quality check, only the most beautiful precious shungite stones are sent to a jeweler in Ukraine. This experienced jeweler uses only the most suitable stones to make the pendants. The result is a lovingly handcrafted piece of jewelry that is not only beautiful to look at, but also has a special life energy. 

Silver setting:

Only high-quality 925 silver is used for the setting. This can be clearly seen from the hallmark.
