Why B-Stock?
This pendant is made of high-quality shungite. However, we have classified it as B-stock for the following reasons:
The engraving depth on the pendant deviates from our standard due to logistical processes.
The pendant contains a higher proportion of pyrite or quartzite.
This gives you the opportunity to purchase a beautifully engraved shungite pendant at a discounted price. The photos shown are for reference – the delivered pendant will have similar visual characteristics.
Quality
The shungite stone used for this pendant has been carefully hand-cut and comes from the Zazhoginskij mine in Karelia, Russia. It belongs to the highest quality category for Classic Shungite (Category 2).
The astrological symbol is a high-quality engraving that makes the pendant particularly beautiful and unique.
Certificate
We verify the authenticity and quality of every stone we offer to ensure that our customers receive only high-quality shungite stones.
For this reason, we regularly visit Karelia, the mining site of shungite, and the workshops where the pendants are crafted. This is the only way we can guarantee the high quality and authenticity of our shungite stones.
Therefore, with the delivery of this pendant, you will receive a certificate issued by us, guaranteeing the authenticity and origin of the shungite mineral.
Please note:
Staining
Items made of classic shungite can stain, more so on unpolished areas than on polished ones. For example, the holes in jewelry beads are not polished, which is why the jewelry may initially stain slightly. This is unavoidable, as it is a completely natural characteristic of shungite. The stains are usually gray and can be easily removed with soap and water.
Inclusions
Classic shungite is a mineral that naturally contains inclusions of other elements, which are irregularly distributed. Therefore, pyrite and quartzite inclusions may be visible in some places, appearing as scratches or cracks. These indicate that it is genuine shungite and are by no means signs of poor quality.
Polishation
The polish does not last very long on the surface of the stone, as shungite is a relatively soft mineral. This is perfectly normal and not a defect. We deliberately avoid heavy sealing or polishing during the production of our products. We want to offer our customers the stones in as natural a state as possible.
