The ball was carefully handcrafted from rough shungite stone with quartz and therefore may have small individual deviations from the dimensions given above.
On the pictures you see only an example. Each ball has a special structure created by nature that is unique. This makes each copy an unmistakable one-off.
Quality:
The raw stones for these balls come from the Maksovskij mine in Karelia/Russia. This is shungite with quartz, also called Maksovsky shungite after the mine in question. In Karelia there is a worldwide unique deposit of shungite of the best quality in different forms, in addition to Maksovsky shungite as well as classic and precious shungite.
Shungite from the Maksovsky mine has all the positive properties of shungite, but it looks particularly beautiful due to the interesting patterns that the quartz mineral gives it. Although the stone contains a lot of quartz, it is conductive. This is an important feature proving the authenticity of the shungite stone.
Mainly due to the numerous inclusions of quartz, Maksovsky shungite has intense energy. Quartz also strengthens the harmonization of radiation protection. Although the radius of action of the protective objects is approximately the same as that of classic shungite, the harmonization is more stable and less susceptible to external loads.

Our customers should always receive excellent quality shungite stones. We therefore check all of our stones and products made from shungite rock for essential quality features such as electrical conductivity, hardness and specific weight.
Real shungite, as far as is known, is mined only in Karelia in north-western Russia. That is why we source the shungite for our shop exclusively from Karelia. We are also there regularly to check the authenticity of the stones at the quarrying site and to survey their path from the beginning to us in Würzburg.
We guarantee this and document it with a certificate of authenticity.

Please note:
Natural matt shungite shows a slight gray abrasion on the palms when touched. However, this can easily be removed with soap and water.
Even if the Maksovsky shungite ball is not polished, it is not suitable for water treatment, since the high concentration of quartz can lead to increased oxidation processes in the water. Therefore, many orange spots (rust spots) will be seen on the surface of the mineral. For water treatment we recommend precious and classic shungite from the Zazhoginsky mine.
