Note on staining:

When threading the beads, the shungite may leave slight black or gray marks at the drilled holes. This is completely normal and a natural characteristic of the stone. These discolorations can be easily removed with soap and water, and staining is hardly a factor in finished jewelry.

Golden or light gray pyrite and quartzite inclusions, which can appear like lines or dots, are sometimes visible. These features confirm authenticity and are characteristic features of the material.
