The classic shungite used here originates from the Zazhoginskij mine in Karelia. This deposit is internationally renowned for particularly high-quality classic shungite.

The offered quality corresponds to category 2, the highest quality grade for classic shungite. Classic shungite is a natural composite rock. In addition to carbon, it naturally contains inclusions of other minerals, especially quartzite and pyrite.

On polished surfaces, these inclusions appear as gray or golden shimmers. They are sometimes perceived as small “scratches” – in fact, they are entirely natural components of the stone. These inclusions give each pyramid its unique, mystically distinctive appearance and are also considered a reliable sign of the mineral’s authenticity. Classic shungite does not exist without these natural structures.

Please note:

Polished classic shungite should, if possible, not come into contact with water. Water can attack the polish and cause it to fade quickly. In addition, fine polishing residues may enter the water, for example when preparing shungite water.

Therefore, please use only unpolished pyramids or stones for the preparation of shungite water.
