These simple, elegant earrings are designed from polished round schungite discs complemented by jade beads.

The word jade is used to describe the minerals nephrite and jadeite, as the two used to be indistinguishable from each other. Jade is found in China and Central America, for example. It has been valued there as a gemstone for thousands of years.

Jade occurs in different shades, for example in yellow, white or green. We have chosen green jade beads for these earrings.

Jade improves mental balance and provides inner peace. It enables greater openness and helps to reduce prejudices. Thus, it makes a good complement for the protective stone schungite.

Quality:

The earrings were made on our behalf by regional jewellery producers. The schungite beads come directly from the mining site in Karelia to us in Germany. The jade beads are supplied by a trustworthy supplier.

All our schungite stones are carefully checked for quality and authenticity, based on electrical conductivity, weight, hardness and optical characteristics. We also regularly visit the mining site in Karelia and the workshops where the stones are processed - for example into these earrings.
